Our Xi Data Center Storage Cluster (Xi DCSC) is designed, optimized and custom-build based on single/dual-socket Rack Enterprise Servers Platforms. It utilizes the latest Linux Operating systems with Ceph storage infrastructure plugins (Ceph's Dashboard web based interface). Ceph is an open-source reliable and scalable storage designed for any organization mostly deployed as infrastructure-as-a-service in both public and private clouds enabling the users to access storage service with object, block, and file interfaces from a single cluster built from commodity hardware component. Our expert engineers will optimize the required hardware and software virtualization to better suit your computational needs applications to a full L11 and L12 validation and certification, delivering a complete turnkey solution. Such Xi DCSC can be used as a standalone datacenter or as a part of a complete Supercomputer.

We are showing here a custom built example of high performance data center storage cluster contained in a single 42U rack cabinet with an impressive total gross data capacity of 3.24 Peta Byte or 3,240 Tera Byte. The design of this Storage Data Center Cluster aims for high density with a superior performance and bandwidth, without sacrificing reliability and scalability.
Configuration Example
Our customer requested a complete L12 customized Ceph software stack installation for this rack integration. Ceph stands for Cephalopods and is an open source software capable of delivering a unified approach to file, block and object storage, as we can see I this screen. Ceph RADOS (Reliable Distributed Object Store) can be configured to offer redundancy with high availability and different levers of fault tolerance with automatic balance and self-healing.
With its different layers of software abstraction, it also provides unsurpassed scaling capabilities. We can combine Ceph with an OpenStack based complete Supercomputer installation to enhance its data storage capacity both hyper-converged and disaggregated for use as a private or public cloud. There is a great amount of flexibility to satisfy the most demanding virtualization and security requirements of each specific client. Without going too deep on the Ceph complexity we can show its ability to monitor each cluster health performance. We can customize all the Ceph Clusters, Pools, Blocks, NFS, File Systems and the connection to a complete Supercomputer infrastructure, providing a full L12 turn-key, plug & play, rack scale integration & deployment.
