The Xi SuperComputer HPC Cluster is designed, optimized and custom-build based on dual-socket Rack Enterprise Servers Platforms (Both Intel Xeon and AMD EPYC based, and optional NVIDIA Ampere GPU and fiber connectivity). It utilizes the latest Linux Operating systems with OpenStack Cluster Management, Horizon (OpenStack's Dashboard web based interface) and Blazar (resource reservation service for OpenStack) plugins.
OpenStack is an open-source standard cloud computing platform, mostly deployed as infrastructure-as-a-service in both public and private clouds enabling the users to access Virtual Servers and other computational resources.
