@Xi Computer has a compliant collection program for the US 48 contiguous States and the district of Columbia. All of the following applies exclusively to computer equipment that has been:
A. Consumers do not
have to pay a separate fee at the time of recycling to recycle
used computer originally labeled as above, provided B. @Xi Computer Corp. provides for the collection from a consumer of any used computer equipment originally labeled as above. Under this plan the consumer can:- call @Xi Computer Corp. toll free at 1-800-432-0486, or fax at 949-498-0257 or e-mail: click here, or mail to: @Xi Computer Corp. 980 Calle Negocio, San Clemente, CA 92673, asking for a free return call tag to be e-mailed, in order to allow him to ship back the computer system at no expense, for proper recycling by @Xi Computer Corp. No responsibility is assumed for any data present on such computer, therefore the consumer has to take all the necessary measures to assure the privacy of his/her data. C. @Xi Computer Corp. provides for the recycling or reuse of used computer equipment originally labeled as above. Such material is then recycled in conformity with the guidelines of the Orange County, California, Integrated Waste Management Agency. For more details visit: https://www.oclandfills.com/ D. @Xi Computer Corp. provides for the collection of computer equipment that is reasonably convenient and available to consumers in the US 48 contiguous States and the district of Columbia., and designed to meet the collection needs of consumers in the US 48 contiguous States and the district of Columbia. E. Data Sanitization Prior to sending your computer/s back to @Xi Computer Corp. for recycling, the customer is advised to remove all data from the computer. @Xi Computer Corp. will not accept any responsibility or obligation of confidentiality for the security of any data contained in/on the equipment handed over. @Xi Computer Corp. recommends to use one the many commercially available data-erasing software applications available on the market to ensure data is removed from the machine's hard drive prior to returning for recycling. If you choose not to purchase the data-erasing software, you can also download a free copy of Darik's Boot And Nuke (DBAN) at http://www.dban.org/download .If you are unable to erase your drive and feel that data on the drive contains sensitive information, you can remove the hard drive from the computer and keep it. F. For customers recycling in Maryland: Maryland Statewide Electronics Recycling Modified Program became effective on October 1, 2012. @Xi provides a free recycling service, including packaging if requested, for @Xi Computer branded products to both residential and institutional users. The fee ranges from $4 to $6 per item. Fees are based on the size of the video LCD display, measured diagonally.
