While complex modeling relies on fast clock speed and strong graphics, rendering and simulations imply extensive use of multiple cores. The six to sixty-four cores processor Intel® Xeon® W-2400 Series up to 24-Cores & W-3400 Series processors based workstations can offer a great number of cores in excess of 64 & 112 theads, but in general, with the clock speed of each core relatively low, single thread modeling performance is limited. Our MTower™ CX Workstation, is the result of our extensive research and combines the best of both worlds: clock speeds up to 4.8GHz Turbo Boost speed and eight-teen cores with big Xeon processor cache. All this, with a fast 4800MHz DDR5 ECC Registered RAM and the ability to use the latest graphics cards, makes our MTower CX the most compact and Full Tower cases, powerful and cost effective multicore Xeon processsor workstation on the market today. An additional challenge, common to all desktop workstations, is to combine a great amount of GPU and CPU power in a relatively small space, while generating the minimum amount of noise.
