MAGMASOFT RECOMMENDED BEST WORKSTATIONS AND SERVERS

MAGMASOFT® has a broad portfolio of applications based on their “Autonomous Engineering™” concept aimed to Simulation and Virtual Optimization of casting processes. There are three main computational aspects of the casting process that MAGMA is addressing: Filling, Solidification and Stress. All these three processes take advantage of multi-core CPU up to multiprocessor workstations and cluster servers. It is important to discuss with MAGMA the optimal SW license and the total amount of CPU cores required in accordance with the complexity of the target project(s). Our configuration consultant will maximize the ROI of your investment balancing the number of CPU cores with adequate RAM, storage and connectivity requirements, achieving the optimal workflow. @Xi is supporting both Windows 10 Pro and Linux operating systems. NVIDIA RTX™ (previously Quadro) Professional Graphics cards will work well with MAGMASOFT, SSD drives are a must and faster NVMe M.2 are preferrable. Here are some examples of recommended configurations. For computational requirements beyond our Titanium configurations, specific cluster server rackmount can be custom quoted.
