1U Blade Cluster, with the newest and most revolutionary, 64 bit AMD
Opteron™ processor, sporting a 2 way SMP HyperTransport™
scalability, 64Bit architecture with 1MB (1024KB) multi-way
associative L2 Cache & independent (per each processor) integrated
DDR RAM Controller. The motherboard, based on the AMD-8111™
chipset with HyperTransport, allows inter-processor data transfer
up to 50 times faster than previous BUS technologies. Expandable
to 12/16GB of 400/333MHz DDR-SDRAM ECC Registered, on two separate
independent memory BUS, the Xi® BladeRAIDer™ 64 offers the
highest density of enterprise computing power available today in a
short 1U Rack-mount enclosure. On board 4 Channel SATA RAID
controller, video and dual 1GBit (10/100/1000) Ethernet network
interfaces make this unit the ideal choice for the most demanding
database, rendering, video streaming, scientific simulations and
engineering parallel computational tasks. Fully tested and
supported for x86 32-Bit LINUX® or Windows® Operating Systems, the
Xi BladeRAIDer 64 is also available with a growing options of true
64-Bit OS (SuSE® Linux 9.0/ES64). The new computing frontier!
